Mr ZAN is a multi -instrumentalist artist, who aims to immerse the listener inside himself through dreamlike and cinematic universe , lacking not to include comments on the real world , mankind and various universal themes ( love, death , war, … ). It thus blends sweetness and violence, light and dark Influences are very eclectic musician ( Amon Tobin , Massive Attack, Björk … ), and made his compositions primarily in a Trip hop esthetic tinged by electronic sounds, sampled voices , noises ( surrounding / sound design) and music room’s style arrangements, or symphonic’s . The songwriting is a mix of organized rhythms from conventional metrics to measurements made through equivalences which sometimes go up to the disintegration of rhythm. Similarly , Harmony / Melody is often modal . It may sometimes be balanced and / or » object » with the basic rhythm , the set being sometimes simultaneously mixing the binary and ternary musical world
